Accessibility

A website should not add to what you are carrying.

Companion Technologies exists to reduce unnecessary burden. A website that is hard to read or hard to use would contradict that.

What we aim for

Large readable type, short lines, generous spacing, strong colour contrast, plain language, clear link text, real headings, keyboard-reachable navigation and text alternatives for images. We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 AA as a working standard.

Known limitations

This website is new and has not yet been through a formal independent accessibility audit. Research surveys are hosted externally on Tally, and their accessibility is determined by that platform. We would rather say this plainly than imply a level of testing that has not happened.
